What to expect

Chef’s Table

This is a new concept at the school with a series of Dinner’s throughout the year each with a Seasonal menu served in our brand new dining room.

There will be five courses all served with a matched wine and will involve some explanations and interactions about each course served, with the chefs introducing each dish.

This Social dining event will be an event where you can pick up some chefs tips, eat food with a modern twist and enjoy the company of the other guests.

The first part of the evening will be in the Cookery school and for the Main course you will be seated in the dining room.

The Set Seasonal Menu on the evening will be.

Small plates -Shallot confit tart with Goats cheese, Jerusalem Artichoke Cappuchino and Sourdough and Comté Toasts served with a Matched Glass of Fizz.

Cured Salmon with Horseradish Snow and Pickled Seasonal Vegetables.

Roasted Duck With Hot Pot potatoes, Textrures of Celeriac and  madeira Jus.

Cheshire honey set cream with Rhubarb and Violas. 

Mrs Kirkhams Lancashire chesse with Garbialdi Biscuits.

 

The Vegetarian options will be the same dish but the protein will be substituted for Confit Celeriac instead of The Salmon And Roasted Beet Steak instead of the Duck.

 

There will be detailed desciptions of the chosen wines.
